Summary: My new eco gadget!
Comment: I just bought this item from Amazon at a great price and I've been using it since the New Year. I have to say that the whole family love it. Fast hot drinks - this item does just what it says on the box!

I was concerned that some reviewers said that they found their drinks to be not as hot as they would like but I have found the temperature of the water dispensed to be very satisfactory. Who needs the aggro of making a hot cup of tea and then waiting ten minutes for it to cool down adequately before drinking?!

Even my cynical husband has been won over by the ease of using the kettle and that is saying something! Actually, he bought it for me to save me from moaning about the constant boiling of kettles which would then be forgotten and reboiled several times before a cup of tea ever got made!

The machine is easy to use too. Just fill the reservoir and press a button. The motor that pumps the water is a little noisy but as the making of an average mug of hot beverage is swift and simple this more than makes up for the noise. The minimal use of power in relation to a standard kettle also contributes to the environmental and energy consumption benefit.

I love my Tefal Quick Cup. I'm off to have a nice cup of tea now*

Summary: tefal quick cup
Comment: having read a lot of reviews I was a bit unsure about purchasing the tefal quick cup. I am glad that I ignored the bad reviews, the temperature of the water is perfect for making a cup of tea or coffee. The water container holds enough for a 4/5 good size cuppas. If you are expecting boling hot water then stick to your kettle, but if all you need is water for a nice hot cuppa then this will be perfect for you.

Summary: Luke warm review
Comment: I am GUTTED. I love the idea of this as I try to be as environmentally friendly as I can. I thought it was my imagination about the water not being quite hot enough, but no, a friend said the same today. Luckily I only bought it 2 days ago, so I shall be going back to Argos to get a kettle! Tefal, please please get this to product hotter water for a great cup of tea :*)

Summary: A great idea but not great
Comment: I saw this product on the Gadget Show in the UK and thought it was a great idea. Saves electricity, time and the planet. What could go wrong?

Well, it is certainly quick. Notice I didn't say quick to boil as the water you get is very hot but not quite boiling, which seems to make a pretty rubbish cup of tea for some reason.

Mine also stopped heating up after about a month and got consigned to a cupboard, where it still lies. The old kettle is sadly back in pride of place.
