Summary: Dont bother....
Comment: I bought this item as my 3 and a half year old daughter saw the advert on TV and asked if she could have one. I thought I would buy it for Easter instead of Easter eggs as she would get eggs from her grandparents and she would enjoy doodle daisy more. The parcel arrived and with much excitement we set it up. There are holes for 5 pens on the front arms, there are shape stamps on each of the 6 feet and the hat has 8 stencil shapes. The stamps and shapes are functional just as any other stamps and stencils are (they do what they're supposed to do). The main feature of doodle daisy is the spirograph function. We chose a setting on the dial underneath doodle daisy and set it going. My daughter watched in amazement as doodle daisy span round and round drawing lovely patterns on the paper. After playing with it for 10 mins one of the pen nibs broke (not good). After playing with it for less than 30 mins, the remaining pens began to run out of ink (not good at all). At this point my daughter lost complete interest in it and it now sits on her shelf gathering dust. She now creates her own spirographs using good old elbow grease, a pen and paper). I now wish I had bought her the Easter eggs, at least we could have had more fun burning off all those calories. My advice would be to try other spirograph products out there. I hope this helps you decide.

Summary: brilliant!
Comment: Bought this for my girls even though they are 7 and 9, they absolutely love it! Its easy to set up, uses 2 AAA batteries, turn the dial underneath for the design, slot the pen in one of the holders, press her back and off she spins! if your child is a fan of spirograph etc then thy'll like this. makes loads of different patterns.

Summary: Not impressed
Comment: After all the ads on the popular kids TV channels, Santa finally left my daughter "Daisy" to her delight. However this was short lived. She was fiddly too set up and work, not good for a excitable child on Christmas morning and the patterns were nothing like on the ads. The pens are rubbish and don't last long at all. It didn't live up to what she had seen and has since been left untouched - in all disapointing!

Doodle Daisy is the scribbly scrawly creepy crawly! "Hi, I'm Doodle Daisy! I'm a fun creepy crawly that loves to draw! Watch me spin and spiral as I create amazing doodles. You can decorate the patterns with my stencil hat and stamping boots and colour them in using the pens included. I can hold up to five pens at once, so mix 'n' match the colours to create loads of different designs!"
