Summary: Excellent Product
Comment: Read all the reviews on this product before buying and decided that as I was looking for something easy to use then this would suffice.
This is ridiculously easy to install, setup and convert vinyl. In fact it probably takes longer to get the turntable out of the packaging than it does to install software and start converting.
Gracenote seems to work well on Albums - Not to good on some singles but that is only a minor point.
Delivery was quick - within 3 days even during Christmas period.
Only problem now is deciding on where to start with a collection of over 500 albums & singles!
If you are looking for a system to help you convert vinyl to MP3 / iPod formats then I would recommend this to you.

Comment: I was bought one of these for Xmas and what a delight!
Having spent the afternoon happily converting half a dozen of my old vinyl LPs to CD I have to say this is a great piece of kit.
Connecting it up and changing the audio settings on my PC were easily done following the included instructions.
There are two different software packages included, a basic version (For PC only) and the more advanced 'Audacity' (also suitable for MACs) which enables more advanced editing and processing of tracks such as normalization, noise removal, 78 RPM conversion and automatic track separation.
There is a detailed PDF guide for the Audacity software on the included disc and I converted my LPs using this programme.
I couldn't believe how easy this was to use. I had a trial run doing one track and that worked fine so then proceeded to record the whole album as one track and then used the 'silence finder' option to separate into individual tracks. You can also record an LP at a faster 45 RPM and then once loaded onto your PC change back to the correct speed which saves a lot of time if you've got a few albums to do.
The results were far better than I expected and considering some of my LPs weren't in the best condition, I'm very impressed.

Comment: Purchased this through ACS Media on Amazon.co.uk Marketplace and item arrived swiftly and in perfect condition.
I'm not that technically competent so a brief teething trouble (I had to disconnect my webcam to allow the turntable to be heard) was swiftly resolved with a quick call to the Ion tech helpdesk (although they're only open during office hours) who were excellent.
The software takes less than 30 seconds to install and is extremely simple to use. I've not had the need to try the advanced software as yet, but played back through iTunes it sounds great to me.
There are also leads to attach the turntable to your stereo so can use as a separate also for playing old vinyl records via an existing sound system.
If you want an easy to use and flexible way to listen to your old vinyl and convert to iTunes, this piece of kit is just the ticket. Dust off those old vinyl treats and enjoy!

Comment: This arrived I unpacked it, read the instructions (Yes every one of them worth the short time it took),I loaded the CD, installed the software, plugged in the usb, took the cover off the needle and there you go burnt my first 12" disc to the hard drive. So easy, yes there was more work to be done on cleaning up the track but found that quite easy once I had played with the second set of software supplied. Maybe not for a budding DJ but for a normal person wanting to save time and money finding & buying digital replacements of their record collection then this is worth it. Just 2 points to consider you may not find music bought when a teen stands the test of a forty something ear's and If your using a laptop depending on your speeakers the music at first sounds tinny but burn to MP3 player and play through your music system sounds a lot better.
