Summary: Excellent product used also by Delia Smith
Comment: I love this chopper as it is small and always in the corner on my worktop. It chops all items very well and makes great dips, pesto etc. Quick and easy to use and easy to clean.
Delia Smith also uses this product on her BBC2 programme.

Summary: Excellent
Comment: A very good little machine, so small you can fit this into a kitchen drawer. Chops finely, quickly and evenly. I recently used it for ingredients in a pasta dish, it chopped celery, onions, carrots in no time at all. Very pleased with this and right now on Amazon it is under £20 - a bargain.

Summary: Most useful kitchen gadget ever
Comment: I bought this, like many others I'm sure, on Delia's recommendation in her Cheat recipe book. It has been in almost daily use in my kitchen since the moment it arrived, about six months ago, so I thought I would add a review based on my experience. It is small - very small, so doesn't take up nearly as much space on the kitchen counter as having a food processor sitting there. It is very easy to take apart, clean and put back together again - these things are really essential for a kitchen machine being used as often as this one will be! Most importantly however, it really does what it says on the box really well. It chops things. Quickly, evenly, finely (if you press the button down for a longer period of time) coarsely (if you just press the button down for a few seconds for a quick whizz!). Most often I use it for 'finely chopped onions' - the basis for many a fine recipe, but I've also used it for chopping ginger, garlic, beef (both raw and cooked), making hummous (a la Delia!) and lots more besides. After six months use, the perspex is showing a few scratches, but apart from that this product as worn well, and the blade seems as sharp as ever. It is really easy to operate - just a big grey button, and it works really really well. Buy one. Even if you can't stand Delia, she is right about this little beauty. If mine broke, I would buy a new one tomorrow!

Summary: Powerful little chopper
Comment: which does exactly what it says on its box, and is not likely to end up relegated to a dark corner of a cupboard!

Efficient in its own right, this super item became especially famous as a 'Delia Cheat Gadget!' (earning itself a removable label on both the box and the item.. in the process!) with the publication of the book - Delia's How to Cheat at Cooking and by the TV programme of the same name!
But do shop around for the best price, as the prices were a bit high for a while, when it became a rarity!

Small enough to be easily stored - but keep it in a safe place as the stainless steel blade...not surprisingly.......is ULTRA SHARP!

Assembles easily and has a safety locking mechanism on the lid, ensuring that the item has to be assembled correctly in order to start, but this is easy to learn.
Dishwasher safe.
Blade chops everything right down to the bottom, evenly..... although some practice is required to begin with to avoid a mushy result!
This is easily rectified with less human enthusiasm, i.e. a shorter burst of power!
Also, it should be noted that it does require the cutting up of chunkier vegetables, e.g. an onion, into pieces....in order to fit into the bowl, which although has an overall capacity of 350ml equates to c150g overall chopping capacity.

Rubber feet keeps the item stable on the work surface and a sensible length of cable - c 4ft.

Boxed with registration guarantee and full instructions.

Summary: size doesnt always matter!
Comment: its been ages since i ordered this little marvel for my darling wife. and if the route to my heart is through my stomach, this little whipper-snapper has surely eased the passage no end! the chopper has been in use for over 3 years now and none of the components have malfunctioned yet. in fact, the blade is still scarily sharp! i would strongly suggest any family of 2 to invest in this lil' genius ... healthy cooking is definitely a breeze with its help. i guess delaying this review so long simply goes to prove how much we've been enjoying this product.
