Summary: You can't cheat death!
Comment: All I can say first of all is wow. Absolutely wow. Ol' Darren Shan is back on top form!
Warning! The following contains spoilers!
This book begins a huge apoclypse: Berenabus is half-demon! And not in the werewolf way, but his mum was human but his dad was a WAAAAGGGHHH! demon! Don't ask how they did it, but somehow she gave birth to the magician, who when he was young was looked after by the Minotaur. 'Cause she gave birth in the Labyrinth, the Minotaur killed, ate her and picked a fight with the baby Berenabus. The Minotaur was intrigued by this and looked after the strange baby. When he was murdered by Thesus Berenabus cried and then left for the Demonata universe and grew up there.
So Bec is now living with Dervish, but Derv hates her because (as you know) she stole poor Bill-E's body. Bec has got this creepy ability to asorb peoples memories. Well Dervish exploits this listens to Bill-E's memories. Eventullay they end up, along with Berenabus and Sharmila and this bloke called Kirilli) on a zombie-infested cruise ship. Along with the zombies they encounter Lord Loss, Cadaver and the Shadow.
Overall I gives this book 10/10 and Five stars.
Yee Haw!

Summary: Darren Shan at his best
Comment: This is the 12th book in the series and probably the best so far. Some of the Demonata books were shallow and dull, this was a cracker, Darren SHan was born in London in 1972 and moved to Ireland when he was 6 years old, where he has lived ever since. He started out writing books for adults, and managed to get a couple published. One day, on a whim,he decided to try a book for children. The result was Cirque Du Freak. The rest is history to his real fans
